Jim Evans

It is with much sadness that we have to announce that Jim, one of our club instructors for many years, has died. Those of us who knew Jim will remember his enthusiasm for aikido and for promoting the club - who could forget him arranging for a day advertising the club from a barrow in Bolton Market Hall? Unfortunately Jim had to stop practising aikido about three years ago because of knee and ankle problems, but his contribution to the success of Manchester & District Aikikai will not be forgotten.
