Sorry about the slight delay in giving the details of the photos, but here they are now. Also well done to Sal who correctly identified John who is in all three. Sal also thought that I feature in them - thank you for the compliment both of the women are younger than I.
The first two were taken on 9th December 1984 at the club's Christmas weekend at Castleton. The young woman is Bernardette McConnell, a keen member in the 1980's who eventually became a brown belt. Bernie has a splinter in her hand and John and Paul Smith (the brown belt) are attempting to get it out. The final photograph was taken on New Year's Eve 1984 at Mary and Don's house. Paul and John are messing around with balloons and Ann, Bernard Derbyshire's wife, has her back to us.
